Najib Hourani

Najib Hourani teaches in the Department of Anthropology and the Global Urban Studies Program at Michigan State University. He received his MA in Modern Middle East and North African Studies from the University of Michigan, and his PhD from the Department of Politics at New York University. He currently teaches Urban Anthropology and Anthropology of the Middle East, and is working on a book-length study of neoliberal urbanism in Beirut, Lebanon and Amman, Jordan..
